is Professor of Medicine, Medical Director of the Kidney transplant Program and Associate Director of the Multi-Organ Transplant Program at McGill University (Montreal, Canada). He is past President of the Canadian Society of Transplantation. He currently serves as TTS President. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He worked as transplant coordinator at the CUCAI. He graduated in Medicine from the University of Buenos Aires. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Churruca Hosiptal in Buenos Aires. He completed a nephrology and kidney transplant fellowship in Paris (Hopital Paul Brousse). His research focuses on multi-organ transplantation, immunopharmacology and renal protection strategies. He has published over 140 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals. His primary focus is continuing education for young and established TTS members and increase access to transplantation worlwide.
